Awards That Need a Brief Application

MASSACHUSETTS PTA AWARDS
every child, one voice

Since our establishment in 1910, the Massachusetts PTA has been dedicated to advocacy for children, parents, and teachers across our commonwealth. As we commit to another century of volunteerism, the Massachusetts PTA continues to be a voice for: strengthening family engagement; safe, healthy, progressive schools; arts in education; and equal opportunity for all children regardless of their diverse backgrounds.

Awards
Each year, the Massachusetts PTA calls for nominations to recognize individuals and units that have made a difference in our state PTA. Massachusetts PTA members are encouraged to nominate fellow PTA members for the following awards:

Directions: In a short response, write about an individual who has worked over and beyond to serve the children in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Nominees must be current members of a local Massachusetts PTA unit.

Carol Woodbury Leadership Award: Superintendent Carol Woodbury was the Massachusetts PTA President from 1999- 2002. Throughout her term, she inspired units across the commonwealth to form productive relationships with school administrators and the community.
